1.Acceptance of Terms

LGBTCareerLink provides online resources for the GLBT community regarding employment including videos, written content, forums and more subject to the following Terms of Use (TOU). By using LGBTCareerLink in any way, you are agreeing to comply with the TOU. IN addition, when using any particular LGBTCareerLink feature, you agree to abide by any further guidelines that may be posted in that specific section, which may change from time to time. Should you object to any terms or conditions of the TOU, or any subsequent changes to the TOU, or if you become dissatisfied with LGBTCareerLink in any way, your recourse is to immediately discontinue the use of LGBTCareerLink.

2.Modifications

We reserve the right to change, modify or otherwise change the terms and conditions at any time. If we make changes, they are effective at the time of posting. You should review the TOU from time to time to keep updated on any changes to the TOU.

3.Content

You understand that all postings, messages, text, files, images, photos, video, sounds and any other materials or links are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. You understand that while LGBTCareerLink is a monitored website, there may still be times when you can be exposed to content that is offensive, inaccurate, misleading or otherwise objectionable. You further understand that links to other websites may be displayed in the content that are objectionable. Under no circumstances will LGBTCareerLink be responsible for loss or damage that may be incurred as a result of using LGBTCareerLink. You understand that LGBTCareerLink has the right, in sole discretion, to delete, refuse, move or replace any content that is available on the site

3A Profile Content
You understand that all of the pages of this website are frequently crawled by the spiders that index this site's pages for search engines. As with all networking sites, your profile may be indexed by any or all of the search engines. This means along with any other profiles you might have on the net, you also might be indexed by your LGBTCareerLink profile and/or your professional resume may show up on the indexes for any search engine. For example-in any search engine could appear Susan Sample]LGBTCareerlink or similar. You understand that requesting a deletion of your profile results in your profile no longer appearing on the site. However,we cannot control how quickly your LGBTCareerLink profile will disappear from any search engine. When you edit or create your profile, please be sure to turn indexing off in the box if you don't want your profile indexed by search engines. While unlikely, there are certain circumstances where your profile could be indexed inspite of all the precautions we offer to control indexing.

If you do not want to have your LGBTCareerlink profile indexed in the search engines, your option is to create an anonymous user name, do not fill out your profile or post your professional photo and do not upload your resume or any other materials, but you can take advantage of looking at jobs, networking on the site, and referencing resources and events.

You should be aware of the fact that all advertising for this site promotes the fact that we are the LGBT and Allied workforce and diversity-friendly employers.

4.Third Party Content

In certain circumstances, Career Link may contain features that may provide access to other locations on the Internet. This information will be completely independent from any relationship to LGBTCareerLink and is posted only for your information.

5.Notification of Claims of Infringement

If you believe your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or your intellectual property rights have been violated please notify

LGBTCareerLink will remove the infringing posting per the terms of the
Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

6.Privacy

7.Conduct

You agree not to post, email or otherwise make available content that is

• unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy or is harmful to minors.
• that is pornographic or depicts humans engaged in any kind of sexual content.
• that harasses, degrades, intimidates or is hateful toward an individual or group of individuals on the basis of gender or gender identifications, race, color, national origin, religion, familial status, sexual orientation or disability.
• that impersonates any person or entitity, including, but not limited to, a LGBTCareerLink employee or falsely states or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity.
• that includes personal or identifying information about another person without that person’s explicit consent
• that is a false, deceptive, misleading or deceitful, or anything that could be considered part of a “bait and switch scheme" or a "pyramid scheme." We are the sole determiners if a job posting is such a scheme
• that infringes on any patent, trademark, or copyright
• that constitutes, “chain letters,” “spam,” “junk mail,” or unsolicited commercial advertising
• that contains software viruses or any other computer code designed to disrupt, limit or destroy any portion of the LGBTCareerLink website
• that floods the site in such a way as to overwhelm the LGBTCareerLink website causing it to malfunction or completely stop functioning
• that contains any disguised identifiers that hide the true identity of the sender of any content

You also agree not to:

• Contact anyone who has asked not to be contacted
• “Stalk” or harass anyone
• Collect data about users for any illegal means
• Use automated spiders, robots and other data mining tools to either upload or download data to the LGBTCareerLink website
• Post irrelevant content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to LGBTCareerLink computer systems
• Use any “automated posting device” to submit content to LGBTCareerLink other than the software we provide
• Use automated means to gather email addresses from LGBTCareerLink in order to send unsolicited email of any kind
• You understand that farming email addresses, or attempting to hack into LGBTCareerLink computers in order to store any unauthorized content is prohibited and per the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, such violations may be subject to civil and criminal penalties
• You understand that your profile description should not be a job posting or contain any illicit content. A professional profile on this site is only for the purpose of conveying your skills and abilities to a potential employer. Please use the other social networking sites for personal, social activities

Paid Postings

LGBTCareerLink may charge a fee to post Content in some areas of the site. Each paid posting is subject to the same TOU as all other users. All fees paid are non-refundable in cases where content has been removed to a TOU violation.

Limitations

You acknowledge that LGBTCareerLink may establish limits concerning use of the website, including the maximum number of days that content will be posted, the amount of postings that can be transmitted by individual users and that we may modify or discontinue site features and content with or without notice and that LGBTCareerLink isn’t liable for the discontinuation of the features or content.

Termination of LGBTCareerLink

You agree that LGBTCareerLink has the right, in its sole discretion to delete or de-activate your account, block your email or IP, or otherwise terminate your use of the service immediately and without notice and to related posted content.

Disclaimer

You agree that use of the LGBTCareerLink site is entirely at your own risk and that services of LGBTCareerLink are provided on an as available basis without warranties of any type.

Limitations

Under no circumstances will LGBTCareerLink be liable for damages resulting from any aspect of your use of the site.
