Who Wants These Professionals?
Overview:
Even in a sour economy like the current one, certain sectors are actively hiring. Certain professions are getting multiple competing offers right now.
You might look at this list and thnk, "This doesn't help me at all. I'm not a chemical engineer or a CPA."
That's OK. Think about how your skills and experience might fit the occupations that support these hot professions in these hiring sectors. CPA's working for the large public accounting firms frequently move across the nation as well as across the world. They need people who arrange their relocaton for example. Chemical engineers create new products for chemical companies. Someone has to sell them. Someone has to manage the transportation to move them and someone has to drive the trucks.
No matter what your skills are, it pays to hone in on jobs in growing sectors, supporting growing, in-demand professions.
